Excellent Tim, I like the birds head angle and eye contact. Killer BG as well, nicely done.

Great shot Tim, The subject pops off the screen and the colors are rendered beautifully. Great exposure, details, HA, BG and even though the perch might be a bit big, I like it, has lots of character. Well done.

Lovely capture. Super angle and details on the bird. The perch is a bit large for the bird but has a lot of character and with your comp you have really made the image come together nicely.

Love those reds, I saw the thumbnail and thought they must be blown but they look good on the larger version. These guys really shine at the right time of the year in the right light. You did a fine job with this one. I love the pose not bothered by the perch, and the BG is sweet. Nice job!

Great image Tim! I like the pose, IQ, BG, HA, perch and composition. I like the fall leaf amongst the fungus.

Eye popping shot Tim, perfect profile and head angle imo, exposure on the reds looks very good too. From another point of view i rather like the largish perch, it has great character and helps portray how small these birds are

Excellent exposure control. Composition is spot on. The perch is special imo. I love the angle at which it moves
through the frame. The fungi are so visually interesting and keep my eye moving nicely, that I really don't get
the "too big for the subject" comments. Curious about the tripod RIP comment?... :)

The red on green looks great. Very neat perch, and I had not noticed the lead until I saw Jim's comment (cool!). Some of the reds are just at the limit, but they are still looking good. Overall quite beautiful!

I stepped on it last week while shooting a bird in flight and forgot that it was on the ground next to me. I also did the same thing to my camera lens hood when I put it on the ground to set up my tripod and stepped on the hood hahahaha it was my entertainment for the day.
