    It seems like everyone is in full-fledged Owl mode this winter. So here is a tropical species to add to the plethora of Great Grays...

    Excellent image Glen, good flash work, detail and sharpness. I would have darkened the background a little. It would help make the OOF branches in the background less noticable.

    Beautiful owl, with those coal black eyes. Very sharp and great handling of the flash. Agree with darkening the BG just a bit as the flash lit it up too, especially at the bottom. All told though, a great shot.

    Way too much flash.
    It looks like it was taken with car headlights on it.
