    Default Rufous Fantail

This is an attractive flycatcher of wet gullies and creeklines. Quite a shy and tricky little bird to get a clean image of.

Beautiful bird in a very nice presentation. Namesake shows well. I like that glassy full catchlight.
The ferns add a lot of complexity and balance to the composition. Very nice frame!

Greg...the bird itself is perfect. The problem is the perch. There's
to much perch for a bird this size. I would crop most of the bottom
off (maybe try cropping at the first leafy branch from the bottom)
and remove the obtrusive branch in the upper right hand corner.

Nice one Greg, rich colors but wonder it it crops in tighter nicely to maybe a landscape aspect. Not a species I will ever see here over in Sth Oz sadly, needing a lot more moisture and shady gullies than we get here

Certainly a nice clean image of this one. I like the environmental look to it. Bird is well placed . As far as the perch is concerned sometimes you have to take what you get and not sure if this one was placed there, but I agree a smaller one would be nice. Lovely colors.

I like the pose, ferns, colours and BG. I agree the perch is not ideal but still a beautiful image. Well done Greg.
