Agree! We just got another 8" of snow.... ok, other than THAT..... pefect "ANGRY BIRD" image! Details are great, where they should be... maybe a little sharper on the beak? I enjoy images like this that certainly do "catch your eye". Thanks for the "grin"!

I like the way this flows! Nice feather detail . I wish there were more dof to catch the beak but that may not have been possible.

"Angry bird" is a pretty good description! Nice details and neat head on shot.

Hi Jeff, don't know what you said to this bird, but... Excellent job on the exposure and color balance. I like the different perspective.

Wow very sharp detail in the feathers and eyes Jeff. I like the expression you caught. Should use it as a "you make the caption" photo.

Thanks to all for the positive feedback, trying to get different perspectives or something unique from time to time. I love to shoot wide open (or close) and get detail it is amazing how beautiful the different species look up close. My plans are to rent a 800MM and try that lens,.. wish me luck!!

Love this pose and all the amazing details in the feathers. OOF beak doesn't bother me at all b/c the important part of this image is the eyes.
