    This image was made (just prior to yesterday's post) this weekend at Bodega Bay, CA. Nikon D200, 400mm f3.5 + TC14B, wide open, 1/2000 sec, ISO 400, exp. com. +33, PP - CS3, sharpened with Nik Sharpener Pro Inkjet edition.

    A nice, clean image of this species, Dan. Looks like you had some harsh light to deal with, and you handled it well. I'd like to see a little more room all around.

    Agree on the room but what a sweet pose !!!! Must have been made close to mid day and exposure looks great !!!

    Hi Dan,
    Nicely handled considering time of day. I like the tight crop...........but I will be in the minority on that.
    Looks like you caught him as he was about to nod off.

    Bird and background compliment each other! would like to see more room all the arounnd.
