Default Black and white Reed Reflection

This is from a recent trip to Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park for bird photography. I liked the reeds reflected in the water and the little clumps of water lettuce (?). I converted to black and white in LR4.

This is beautiful!! And the bit of darker reflection in the LL gives it a point of interest.

Very simple and elegant. The image flows nicely from left to right.

Hi Cheryl, I like the nice abstract look and how the occasional ripple breaks up some of the reflections. The image has a nice flow and rhythm to it, very nice.

This is beautiful Cheryl. I applied a low opacity layer of nik/soft focus and found that it lightened and softened the image a bit. i loved the effect. Just a thought

This has an oriental feel to it. It looks good in B&W. Nice distribution of the elements. There is a reed that seems to be going to the right at about the 2 o'clock location, a bit fatter than the rest, that is bothering me. There is a nice flow to this image.

I also like the flow of the reeds across the frame and I like the clumps scattered around. Black and white is perfect for the image.

Cheryl...I like the look ...The lower left grayed area acts as a nice anchor...simple and beautiful....my two favorite descriptions for my favorite photos.

A bit late to the party but as others have stated the simplicity and flow of the image are impeccable.
