    Since today is day one of the Great Backyard Bird Count, I thought I'd post one of my backyard friends. Taken near my feeders a few weeks ago. C&C appreciated.

    D7000, 700mm, ISO 800, 1/1600s @ f/8 manual.

    Wow. This sure pops off the screen. Great pose and HA. Perfect techs and the detail is awesome. Talk about a sharp eye! Comp, BG and perch make this one of the best shots I have seen of this species. Nice!

    Bill, there is no question about the IQ, sharpness or the HA. To me the most interesting part is
    the crop. I like the way you have included only part of the tree trunk, and the position of the bird
    in the crop, truly amazing......
