    Gorgeous colours and exposure, he looks bright enough to be in breeding plumage. I like the fine perch and unobtrusive BG too, the spider (?) in the bill is an added bonus, all round excellent shot.

    Lovely comp on such a slender perch Frank, bug in beak is a nice touch, to me it looks as though it could do with a slight contrast tweak

    Although i never have seen one in real life, this bird is one of my favorites from Europe. Very nice image, Frank. The work in the beak is a bonus.

    Hi Frank, well exposed and sharp on the chat, and what a lovely smooth BG. His catch a bonus. Im fine with the comp as is, but a vertical may work too.
