    Coming in for a landing at Ding Darling early one morning last November. FF+ (added a slivver of canvas). I suppose a bit less side-lighting might have helped the far wing, but it does bring out the detail in the breast feathers.

    D7000, 700mm, ISO 2000, 1/2500s @ f/6.3 manual.

    Lovely one Bill, the diagonal approach in the frame makes it lovely to view

    Lovely image, Bill, and the side lighting works nicely here. Super exposure and details. I might like a tad more space on the left if you have it.

    Nice pose captured, Bill. The side light worked here well bringing out nice details of the bird.

    Hi Bill,
    I really like this.
    The light is great and does indeed light up the breast feathers beautifully.
    The head angle is perfect and I like the splayed foot.
    The comp is a bit off to my eye and I would add a bit to the left or take a bit off the right,
