    Default Eagle Perched

    I am new to this forum and have posted a few pics in the other critique threads but think I should start here because of the amazing photography on this site.. I started photography 2 years ago. 1/320ƒ/6.3ISO 80500 mm K-5..

    Thank you for posting. You have a lovely subject here. It's a bit of a steep angle, and I wonder whether it might have been possible for you to step back several steps and try photographing this eagle from farther back to help cut off the angle a bit. I like the way the bird is looking a bit to the side and the colors are all quite nice together. The light looks as though it was a bit harsh but you handled it well.

    I wonder if you might be able to share your camera brand please. I didn't see it in your exif. I am a little curious about your ISO 80 and I would suggest that unless you have a very noisy older camera, most cameras can easily handle ISO 400 and I rarely have my ISO set to anything below this figure for bird photography. This will give you either more speed or depth of field, whichever you need for your photos.
