    I shot this over the weekend. I used the 1D Mark IV 300 + 2X TC, ISO 400, F/8.0, 1/1600, tripod and gimbal head. I cropped as tight to the right side as possible, nothing left. C&C greatly appreciated.

    Quite an impressive flight image, Don. Love all those water drops on the duck. Lovely water. Nice and sharp and love that pose. I would do a little bit of noise reduction (NR) on the background, as I am seeing a little bit of noise in the darker spots in the BG. Keep in mind that with the 1D4, you should easily be able to photograph at ISO 800 and higher when you need to for when you need more speed and/or depth of field (DOF).

    Don,
    You did a great job of capturing the bird in flight. I like the wing position and the background. There could be a little more canvas on the left, the wing seems just a little cramped. You could probably crop it a little tighter on the right, but it's not a problem as it is. Keep on posting fun images.
