One of the locals captured from the back door! These have been rarely seen over the last month but made a showing today in stormy weather, which they seem to prefer. Just about got the sun behind before he turned away down the valley into the wind.

Hi Richard, I feel you have exposed the underwings nicely, especially looking up to the sky. Lots of colours to look at, good eye contact, and your vertical comp works well.

Amazing under body detail coming through in this, sharp and timed nicely, sits in vertical frame nicely as well

Very well lit and good exposure, being a little hypercritical the very edges of the tail and to a lesser degree the wings and flank show signs of burn out, maybe this could be corrected?? Depending upon your stand point you may wish to consider making the sky just a little more blue??

What a beautiful set of wings and you captured the detail and colors well. Light looks a little harsh but you handled it well

Reposting having processed differently, no adjustments to exp/s&h, just NR to BG, image has not been sharpened
