A small flock sitting at waters edge seemed peaceful until I got a little too close in prone position and one charged me.

I like the setting and composition. The bird looks a bit soft and the light quite harsh. There are some artifacts in the BG.

Thanks for the comments Axel. It was 10 till 12, high noon. I have gone to f/11 over 8 in an attempt to get more res. I don't think I got movement at 1/500. It's a little frustrating. Any suggestions on how to improve taking the shot besides going to the bar midday? :) The artifacts I can remove.

    Very nice composition Bill,
I like it just the way it is...:D Nice image and exposure showing the details on the feathers, good head angle and sharp...congrats... the background is soft and pleasing which compliments your subject very well...

Is this the Bully in Out of the box?

Nicely composed, harsh mid-day light hurting you.

Went back in and applied lens blur cancellation in smart sharpen and lowered exposure .03. Removed artifacts and see an improvement.

Definitely an improvement! But it's hard to overcome the harsh light.
