Beautiful image. Very clean water. The framing and exposure are very good. I think the black feathers on the back have a bit of green cast.

The raised foot, the catchlight, the great exposure on both the whites and blacks ... all make this a wonderful image. Wouldn't change a thing!

I like the raised foot, sharpness, calm water, low angle and composition. Excellent image Greg!

Lovely elegance in this shot Greg, very serene mood, great detail and sharpness too, liking the catch light and glint of water on the beak.

Aren't these more commonly called the " Black-winged Stilt " and the other species is the "Banded Stilt "

Very nice Greg, and beautiful in its simplicity. I took the green on the blacks as naturally occurring sheen so I am OK with that.

Hi Greg, I really like your low perspective here, and you sure captured a cool pose leaning forward with the raised foot just touching the water. Exposure and sharpness spot on, and I like the stillness and colour of the water. An opportunity well used.

Great looking bird, nicely captured, Greg. I especially like the eye and the raised foot.

A beauty, Greg. Love the simplicity of this, the pure bg, nice pose. Perfectly exposed.
