Hi Charlie,
One of my favorite birds! I like the walking pose and the foot up. I like your POV because, had you been lower, one would not be able to see the feet.
I find the image very bright and would reduce the brightness and/or exposure.
The whites on the top of the head are blown out and I would try to recover something if you can,
Gail

Thanks Gail I have re worked he image I checked he clipping and nothing was showing up with the whites? I'm not sure if the image looks to dull now love to hear what you think. I only ran a highlights/shadows checked levels and reduced brightness with curves then sharpened and re sized to 1024 for web.

Beautiful shot of walking galah in grassy environment.Issues raised by Gil are well addressed in the repost. I like the nice colors, details and composition.

Hi Charlie,
I think that somewhere between the Op and the repost would be perfect,

The repost shows how much detail can reside in otherwise detail-less areas of white! I too like the walking pose, looks like it is walking uphill :-)
