    Default Semipalmated Plover

A little slow going photography-wise the past couple of weeks so here is one from the archives ;-) Photographed last fall on a local beach that was all the rage as far as shorebird migration went.

Canon Rebel XT + 100-400L @400mm, 1/250s., f7.1, ISO400, +1.3 EC, handheld, a couple of distracting elements cloned out in URC

This is superb Daniel! I think you have all the elements of an excellent image here- composition, exposure, sharpness/DoF, action, BG. How much of a crop if any what this? The image really shows how good the 100-400 can be.

Great pose, angle and eye contact. I might raise the color temperature a tad.

very nice image Daniel.. sweet light, pose, and back, collours look great to me... the head looks too centered in the frame to me,.. Also, I really like the low angle.

Sweet little pee-wee, love that wing stretch. Agree with Axel on warming it up a tad :)

Great wing stretch and subject - super capture. Do agree with others comments about warming it up a notch.

I like it as presented Daniel. Don't mind the lack of warmth on an overcast day.
