Wonderful comp. and exposure. Good stop action. Love the wing detail.

    Karl,

Great exposure and critical sharpness. The implied motion given by the balance and leg position is great.

I only wish the wing position were better, with possibly the wings outstretched.

    What a sad story.
    I like this shot.
I have always liked this wing pose for some reason.
    Good IQ and exposure.
    A good solid shot,
    Gail

Hi Karl, what strikes me in this image is how the colour of the gull pops against the winter BG. Just love the light, and both the exposure and sharpness are perfect. Good feather detail shown too.

    Sad about the damaged leg.

Too bad about the band that damages the leg. Nonetheless, it's a fine image here; the colour balance, the exposure, and the details are great.

    Very nice shot.
I really like the lifted foot and wing position.
Excellent details, great comp, and very exposed.
    Well done.
