Well, I finally found a red flower. I've had this for a year and never liked it regardless of how I cropped it. So I decided to change it by using the Twirl filter, then Nik Color Efex to darken the center a bit and finally a touch of the glass filter.

Really nice Cheryl, the colors blending into the twirl are lovely. It's great to go back to older images and try different things, and it worked out well for this one. Definitely red and romantic!

I love the curls you created--sensuous in that deep red color. The lighting is lovely, accenting the edges of the swirls. I just wish the center were a bit more in focus and a bit brighter. I like the creativity here.

I've waited to comment on this, I liked it the first time I saw it. Really goes with the theme. Lovely effect and composition.

Cheryl,,,,You certainly got some beautiful curves here. I really like this! Did you try darkening the center ?
