    Had a lot of fun with these last time I was in Puerto Jiminez CR.
    I managed to find an old sack to lie on as the beach was so muddy.

    1/400 F11 ISO 400 100=400 7D cropped from vertical, cleaned and NR BG, touch of highlte reduced, light burn to very bright bits to even

    Real nice low shooting angle. BG looks great. Exposure on the bird looks great. Nice job!

    Very nice shot.
    Excellent low angle, great pose, nice light, and great comp.
    I would be tempted to remove the large rock behind it.

    Nicely done, great light, detail and liking the head turn. Just been photographing this species for the first time over here and they are so very hard to get close to compare to many other shore bird species
