Great shot! My first thought was that it could be cropped tighter, but then I'd hate to lose the "running room" on the right or the wake on the left. And given the droplets above it, I don't think you can crop any tighter without losing something.

Pretty darn good!! It is so difficult to get a bird tack sharp if they are flying towards you so well done.
Love the front foot and the water trail. You even managed to get the iridescence on the head.
I would try to eek out more brightness in the eye area and clone out the black spot in the water directly in front of the foot. Would also tone down the 4 bright specular drops behind the bird.
I know the following suggestion is very tedious work but I would redo the BG NR and select out all of the drops above the duck so they are nice and sharp and not smudged. The image is worth it,

Dan, you know that I love your work, but this one isn't working for me. Love the foot, but I need a better head angle and a better wing position. However, I try to keep an open mind...Gail's suggestions might help.
