This image was taken about 10-15 minutes after sunset as per the time shown on the exif file.
Again, to have the white exposed right I had to get the dark area separately brighten up in PP.
    Thanks for looking.

Spot on exposure and amazing details and colors here, Karl. Love all the details of the waterdrops on the head feathers.

Exposure and colors look nice Karl.
    It needs rotation.

The waterdrops are what makes this photo, I think. That and the rainbow colors. I disagree with Dan, I don't believe it needs any rotation as my eyes look top to bottom and it looks right to me. I think the angle of the breast and the waterline can fool you if you don't look at the head to breast line.

Exposed perfectly, love the light and water color.

Really nice Karl. Love the color in the water and the exposure on the whites.
I feel it needs some CW rotation as well.

Just a bit of rotation needed. Otherwise a sweet photon of a beautiful subject. Nice post processing.

Don't I see the setting sun (and maybe you?) in his eye? In any case, brilliant job on the whites. The head colors pop, and the droplets all over his body are a sweet touch. You've introduced some graininess in trying to open up the blacks. to me, the ones on his back are not important, so I'd go easy on that processing. Yes to rotation. I might try selecting the background and reducing the brightness of it just a bit so give your duck center stage. And my eye wants to see it rotated. Karl, you have worked so hard on this series and it really shows as each image has gotten better and better.

    Thanks, Grace.
As you mentioned the Sunset, I double checked the time setting on the camera.
Sure enough it was still set as per the Summer time setting.
The time shown as 5 39 PM in fact was only 4 39 PM, about 45 minutes before Sunset.
Sorry for the misleading info. I corrected the camera setting now, thanks to you.
I'll look into the rotation but I think I lined up the tip of the beak as the eye was not shown very well in the reflection.

Hi Karl, I really like how you have brought out the colours on the head, and captured in sweet light. The droplets over the body add interest, and I also like the colour of the water.

Great shot and nice exposure Karl! I'm sure the perspective at the time of the capture is right, but the image looks like it requies a CW rotation, as mentioned above.
