    Default Fire Dance

The other day, I was looking through the images that I had made during a work-related trip to Quebec City last year, and came across this one that I hadn't remembered. I was really struck by the expression on the man's face. I hadn't planned on posting it, but when I saw the weekly theme was Red, I decided to give it a try. There are several aspects (both literal and figurative) of this image that are red! Comments are welcome.

Wendy, I really like this composition... perfect for the theme! I too like the focus and expression on the man's face. I also like the angle formed by the torch and the throwers. The setting with brick wall in bg and the lighting makes this an engaging composition! TFS.

Nice capture Wendy. I don't mind not seeing all of the guy's lower body but it would be nice if you had just a little more canvas on the bottom so the fire baton isn't resting on the edge.

Yes, the man's face is pure concentration. The whole image has a reddish glow, so it fits the theme well. I wish the man's whole body where in the image, that way he would be more of the center of focus. Nicely captured and rather different from what we normally see here. Thanks.
