I really like the satin smooth water and the light on the gull.
I feel it could use a touch of CCW rotation.
Whites look great and great low POV.
I would clone out the white spot on the bill and remove the lower catchlight,
    Gail

Sweet shot! Love the velvet feel of the water!...And what I think is the reflection of the water on the gull's breast? Would also clone out the white spot on the bill. The red/orange bill really provides a great focal point here. Well balanced.

Good exposure and control of whites. Agree with the slight CCW rotation. I don't see a second catch light, but my eyes may not resolve it at this image size. I do see what looks like a small elongated streak. Didn't even notice it before Gail mentioned it. Also agree on the white spot on beak. Very nice image overall.

    Wonderful shot.
Very nice soft light, great pose, great shooting angle, and I really like the soft texture of the water.
    Well done.

I'm such a fan of gulls, and this is beautiful. What species of gull is it? (Black headed?) I like that it's not level as he's on a little wave. Would remove the spot on his bill, and there's a white blob on the right side of the frame.
The simple colors of this image allow the viewer to enjoy the red bill.
