I like the wings but the head down in the water just doesn't work for me.

Hi Fabs - I have to agree with Robert - I really like the wings, but the splash where the head is located almost looks like an explosion! If it was only a fraction of a second sooner... Gee, how many times have I thought that about my own images!

Well obviously it's a subjective response but I like the photo as is. The splash where the head is located adds to the dynamic feeling of the image. I also think the composition works well -- especially as an impressionistic work.
