Excellent image , the bird looks great and good details on this one
The excellent background compliments the bird very well
I am not very sure of the placement of the bird in the image , and i felt may be some less space on the tail side of the bird may get it nicer to my eye
I love the way you have kept the vegetation around to give it a nice look

Nicely composed, well balanced image...although I must admit that I wish there was a bit more of the vegetation at top corner (the vegetation at left is just right). Great BG! The perch has an extra part to it that I could have done without, but still not too bad. The eye looks sharp but I could see a bit more sharpening on the face. Keep them coming Greg!!

Hi Greg, each recent post you have posted, is of a species Ive never seen or even heard of - thanks for sharing your varied birdlife. Love the intense stare from this fellow, and I like the earthy colours on him. One part of me says the two bits of foliage frame him nicely, and the other part says that the top piece of foliage is just 'hanging' from nowhere, and should be removed. I might also take a touch off the RHS.

Very nice photo. I like how you cropped in the 3 separate sections to frame the bird nicely.
