Default Splish splash I was takin a bath

I meant to share this image last summer, but got lost in time.

This little fellow was trying to cool off as it was a really hot summer. I believe it is a song sparrow, but unsure with being so wet!

Love the water splashes and drops, good head angle, nice low perspective, and sharp details. It looks slightly warm on my monitor (unless that's what it actually looked like due to near sunrise or sunset). The latter is an easy fix. Nicely done!

very dynamic pose, I like the water drops. However feathers look quite noisy and lacks contrast.

Thanks for the critique guys. I've gone back and edited the image. I've added contrast locally on the birdie and did a little bit of NR on it as well.

    Thanks!

    Hi Charles,
I like the low POV and the size of the bird in the frame. Great water droplets and I like the little feather sticking out of the water.
    Repost looks better,
    Gail
