    Hi every one! and hoping every one is making lots of great images!

    Today I want to share this image of a relatively common WP of our rain forests.

    MK3+300f/4@6.3+TC 1.4+ ISO640+SS1/60+ Tripod+LR+PS

    Lovely image you got here Juan, nice sharpness and the green background enhances the bird a lot

    Lovely bird you have captured here. I wonder if you may have been able to step back a little bit to photograph this WP to cut off a little bit of that steep angle. Your head doesn't appear sharp here and, as Peter suggested, is on the shoulder which is sharper than the head. I am also noticing quite a strong green cast. You're going to need about a +10 magenta on a Color Balance layer to offset the green.

    Cool woodpecker and nicely posed. I assume it's a male. Good observation on the color by Marina.

    Thanks a ton Marina for your good observation and advise. Let's see if I understand, I applyed -10 magenta, but the bird turnded too magenta on the blacks so I applyed -5 and on selective color I applyed +4 on the blacks. Now, that is on my monitor that the image looks ok, may be is time to calibrate this monitor!
