From a recent trip to the Pacific Northwest. This is about a 10% crop, converted in Capture NX2, PP with ACR and CS5. I cleaned up a few dark spots and used a little NR on the BG and parts of the bird, selectively sharpened the rest and did a little eye work. I wish for a lower angle but I couldn't pull it off.

A nice sharp image with a beautiful red forehead, good lighting and I love the wintery setting. I agree regarding the lower angle which would have improved an already appealing image Dan.

Great exp to bring out excellent detail in both the bird and the snow. Nice pose and angle doesn't bother me. Since you have already cleaned up other things, there's a brighter piece of snow about an inch in front of the bird and just below the shadow.

Gorgeous bird and excellent sharpness, Dan. Your exposure if spot on and I'm enjoying the details in the snow as well.
As you said, a lower angle would have been nice, but one often has to get what's given.

What a little cutie-pie with super light, exposure and details. Agree that a lower angle would have improved an already nice image.

Dan, I forgot to mention in my previous note that I would crop an inch + from the top.
