I found this classic car in the backyard of a neighbor and found the grill interesting. I processed it in color efex with detail enhancement, tonal contrast, and lighten / darken . I also tried for a gritty look with a high pass sharpening in PS.

This isn't what I expected from the title, but it may be even better. I like the contrasts in color -- black, rust, and chrome -- and in the finish from place to place. I think I'd like to see the same amount of room at the sides and top as there is at the bottom, but conditions may not have permitted that. Great job with the processing. The image is appealing visually and is thought-provoking. That's a wonderful combination.
Your processing brought out the gritty and old-time elements in this classic grill. I like the shinny chrome and the orangey rust. The name of the car along the top is a nice touch. I, too, would like to see more room around the grill. Excellent job.
My son and I have always felt that cars project a certain personality when you look at their nose. You've brought out this car's smug grin very nicely. I like the chosen processing for this one a lot. Look at a lot of the older cars grills and you'll start to see the varied personalities. :-)
Bob, this car definitely has a personality! I like the gritty presentation.
