Same juvenile Golden Whistler from my other post, but this time with a rather delicious looking caterpillar he ate right in front of me
Canon 7D + 500 f4.....f5, 1/200, ISO 500, + 0.7ev...flash fired, tripod mounted withing a temporary hide.....this one had more PS to it than previous image as the angle is slightly different and showed a large tree trunk in the background, so cloned it out and smoothed backdrop, selective sharpen and noise reduction.
{ just in case anyone's interested I will be offline for a week or so as from tomorrow, I'm heading away to my sisters home about 200klms away, hopefully fitting in some photography as well, with high ambitions to try and photograph a rather rare and reclusive bird called a Western Whipbird ....lots of luck needed }
Hi Phil - nice catch for both of you. Excellent details and sharpness with a pleasing bg. I do wish the HA was just a fraction more toward you. Good luck on your trip.
