Cool pose, looks like it is diving.
Very sharp and interesting to see one in flight.

I like the different take on this flight shot. I thing you have great detail and a nice look at the eye and feet as well

A different and visually effective look at this bird. The curve of the head gives us a look at the eye, and that helps the image. I think I might see a bit of a magenta cast in the sky.

Thanks for the comments. I think you are correct regarding the magenta cast in the sky Doug, I have reposted with +10 balance towards green on the sky, thanks for spotting that one.

Nick, quite a unique perspective, but it works. Nice details.

Interesting and different flight pose, head turn makes it for me. Rp takes it up a notch.

This is really a unique flight pose, Nick. The upside down view with everything so well lit, the spread tail feathers and those cute little feet just make this one very powerful. This is a contest contender for sure.

Thanks for the nice comments, particularly your contest contender comment Marina, I was quite taken aback.

Great shot, Nick. Not your typical flight shot but its uniqueness works quite well. Everyone has already nailed all other points. Agree with Marina's contest contender comment.
