I was close, thus the f/10. I consider the lighting conditions to be close to perfect. Not much in the way of post-processing; small adj of clarity and exposure slider. Resized in CS, smart sharpen, jpeg conversion. Personally I like the contrast as it is, but opinions on increasing it would be helpful. comments and critique welcomed. regards~Bill

I really like this Bill. Love the feather detail and the wisp of the crown blowing in the wind. Very nice detail as well. As to the contrast, I personally would like to see a bit more contrast in the colors. I did a quick edit in PS to see what it would look like with a curves adjustment. While this might not be what you had in mind, it might give you an idea of another direction to go contrast wise.

The repost seems to have a cooler color temp and looks more natural to me. It's a very nice image, the pose is not one commonly seen in GBH images.

Very appealing image...well exposed and nice and sharp. It portrays a certain mood which I like. The RP works well with the color adjusted.
