    Hi Joel, nice to see you posting here again. This is a very nice image of a flicker. I do find myself wishing to see a bit more of the red patch on the back of the head. The image seems a bit soft overall, is it just me? Love the light in this one.

    This is a really lovely image, Joel. My favorite part may be that I can see the yellow under the tail and a little hint under the wings...hence a yellow-shafted. Great perch and BG too.

    This is a very handsome flicker. I agree with Kerry in that it would be nice if we could see the red on the head. I love the lighting and the way the perch blends in with the bird.

    Lovely capture of the Flicker. I like everything about it, although on my monitor, the head colors look a bit washed out. I might burn the midtones a little bit.

    Beautiful shot, lovely head turn and wonderfully blurred BG. Great shot overall.
