    This proud goose with his chest poked out ,and his head held High is about to kick a rock and "Stump his Toe ." llh - Nikon D90 - Sigma 150-500- ISO 640-

    f/6.3 ss 1/4000 Focal length 500 mm Adjustments in ACR and CS6 removed some rubbish ,Added some canvas to the top

    Clyde,

    Interesting shot and I enjoyed the narrative too. First thing that comes to mind is level the shot, maybe a slight counter clockwise adjustment (notice the land slants down towards the right side of the frame). The subject could have more clarity too; imagine the same picture with a sharp eye and enhanced feather detail. Since the shutter speed 1/4000 was plenty fast, I assume this was a large crop and HH? Talk to me goose (get it - from Top Gun)!!!

    Good exposure here Cylde, although the goose somehow seems a bit soft. The sun also seems to be coming in from your right, maybe next time try shooting when you are between the bird and the sun, that way you'd get more even lighting. I enjoy this shot especially with your story. I can see many proud people who I'd wish would stump their toe on a large rock.

    Hi Jeff & Faraaz , this was hh ,and I have absolutely no excuses for the tilted frame ,I so know better ! As far as crop ,It was a extremely small crop ,thus brings us to the blur , I went back and looked at what I posted at 100 % OH man that is BAD ! Seems I'm Doing something wrong with "Save for Web " until posting on this forum I have never used "Save for Web " always used Flickr only . So I posted it there and copied it here . Better ?
    Faraaz , seems like I'm the one who always kicking the rock ' lol Thank You for commenting and offering your Help .
    I would also like to take the opportunity to express my gratitude to the mods who come in here to help ,every day . I hate to name names ,because I'm sure to miss someone , But Jeff ,Marina ,John and Kerry quickly come to mind .............Thank you guys and Gals ,I Hope your are Blessed for all you do !
