    Stuart;

    I like the neck position, soft two colored BG, exposure and sharpness.

    There is a subtle halo in front of the lower portion of the neck.

    For personal taste, I might trim down from the top a little. The line is so strong from the neck and the bill that I don't think a slightly squarish crop will hurt at all.

    Cheers

    Hi Stuart - looks like a bad hair day. I too like the curve to the neck and see the halo. There's also some smudges or cloning artifacts around the bill, particularly just below the tip and another one on the rhs above the bird.

    Rachel

    Great portrait, and I love the contrasting backdrop, nice colors in that, sits in the frame nicely....but there is a bluish haziness on the lower neck = dodge tool maybe ?...and a something a little odd around the beak = cloning maybe ?

    Very nice portrait, love the two tone background and sharpness of the bird.
    I also see something around the tip of the bill, I think a slight re-work will help.

    Stuart,

    Great close-up portrait with wonderful detail in the face.

    I would go back and clean up some of the artifacts, as mentioned by Randy and Rachel.

    Super details in your blacks here, Stuart. Lovely light and HA and I like your BG a lot. Wish there were less space above but not sure just removing some off the top would work either.
