We had two beautiful sunny days on Saturday and Sunday.
I managed to catch up with shooting.
    This male is taking off.

    KARL:

Lovely take off pose, with dangling feet, that famous long tail, exposure, and very interesting water details. The scattered oval light donut reflections are unique.

I might clean up the one streaked drop near bottom frame edge. The others closer to the body are fine.

    Cheers

Really nice flight position and lines to this, including the tail. Tough to expose these correctly and you did well but the neck and top of the head look a little hot and as if they were covered with white paint. I'm not sure if you can recover them a bit more.

Lovely pose and light, Karl. While I am not much into cleaning up, I agree with Randy on that highlight near the bottom. Lovely blue BG here.

Hi Karl, you nailed this. Excellent flying pose, sharp, and the light has brought out the detail nicely. Love the blue of the water.

You've captured an excellent pose, Karl. Great light, nice sharpness and love the blue bg. Neck looks a tad hot on my monitor too; I'd tone it down if possible.

Great flight shot, with good body and wing position. And the tail. Interesting water reflections, but I'd take out the one tiny bright spot at the bottom. Head/neck may be just a tad hot, or at least give that impression on my screen.

I like the wing position, sharpness, water colour/texture and composition. Hot spots and streak already mentioned. Very well done Karl!
