A amazing image, the ISO 1600 performance is lovely with absolute no noise
The details are wonderful and a background i would like to carry around with me everywhere.
Nice one
awesome image Arash, outstanding IQ, HA, Colors, the sharpness is impeccable!
Dosnt get much better than that Arash. Very cooperative individual letting you guys get pretty close and giving you some great frames, this being one of the best of the series. Awesome! Congrats on the Moderator title also.
The light is spectacular as is the sharpness. Well done as usual.
Great image, Arash. The HD version is fantastic. Love the HA, IQ and the background is nice too.
Superb shot and great detail. American kestrels are great little raptors
Arash:
Lovely bird, neat pose, but it is the light that makes it sing!
I don't mind the brown trunk in the BG, except it intersects with the birds face and stops the flow of the image(the birds movement to the left) for me, and I would remove it.
Congrats.
Randy
Arash,
Another great Kestrel to add to your collection! Hand-held I assume? Question: when you HH, do you carry the lens on a strap or just hold it by the foot?
I wouldn't have noticed the brown trunk in the bg, but Randy makes a good point. (That's why I enjoy seeing the images AND reading the critiques!)
Miguel
I don't mind the trunk, it adds to the BG for me.
Fantastic light, I think the bird might look good moved just a bit to the right.
Excellent IQ as usual.
Dan Kearl
Amazing quality shots as always!
wow, another stunner, Arash!
Stunning image Arash. The IQ is off the charts and the pose is excellent. Love the light and the bg.
I like Randy's idea re. the brown trunk.
Awesome shot!!!!
Terrific pose, wonderful light, and very nice background.
The only thing that takes my eye is that brown vertical line in front of the bird.
Other than that....
Well done.

Thanks everyone

The wings are in a good upward position, beautiful light and colours and a nice unobtrusive background. Its incredible how you have caught such a fast moving bird so well Arash.

Arash, your shot of the kestrel is stunning. I don't have anything else to add more than what has been said, except to say that I have been trying to photograph a kestrel in flight for a couple of weekends now and have failed miserably because these guys are so fast. I have tried tripod as well as handheld, with and without the 1.4X Tcs. Clearly the skills of the photographer is what makes the shot.
Very very sweet image. It gives the feeling that ,she is just in front of me.
Regards,
Satish.
Amazing image Arash

Sweet light, I am jealous of the images I have seen from this location.
Another fine capture Arash.
The light is the one to die for in this image. Wing position, HA and all are just perfect too... Awesome image.
