Default DAP for Dave, a little late...

But better than never. I wanted to do a new DAP image and took a while to decide which one to use next... This one started with the "Illustrator" preset and I made some adjustments before running it. Back in PS CS6 I mixed the new layer with the original using a soft brush and a layer mask.

BTW, the new 64-bit version of DAP is really nice. If you don't have it you should check it out.

Wonderful image! Love the effects. The colors stand out beautifully from the bg. It almost looks like woven or embroidered fabric. Just lovely.

Lovely color and processing. The ragged edging fits the feel of the image very well. A nice choice

Beautiful composition and effect, Kerry. It feels like wood etching... perfect for a wood duck! Awesome color and great use of DAP.

Hi Kerry Love the Wood Duck (one of my favourites), i like the effect and the framing...If it were mine I'd probably clone out the black area in front of the breast (and while your at it round off the dark edge on the left) but thats just my idea. TFS

Kerry, perfect DAP for the wood duck. It really does look like grains of wood and has a nice "illustration" look to it. I love the colors and the reflection.

The colors and brush effect really make this image. Nice work.
