Looks very sharp and the eye contact/detail looks great also.

Light looks harsh and less than ideal for these guys, they really need soft light to look their best.

    Raul,

If you had gotten a bit less head turn towards you, you could have gotten the full beak as well as the eye in sharp focus. I know that with these guys bobbing their heads around it is a difficult taste. As Robert mentioned, sharp eye and good details.

Hi Raul Like the intense look Agree with previous suggestions all very good Looks like the lighter head feathers have a peculiar coloration Normally they are lighter and more creme color?

    Thanks for recommendation.
    Lance,
It was also nice to meet you, it was easy to recognize you with the picture on your profile.

    Alfred,
I check the raw file I am not sure that there is a color shift to those feathers... during the PS workflow I applied the following adjustments; levels, SH/ H, Hue/ Saturation (no more than 6 points to master ), and USM.
The only local changes was to delete one of the two catch-light on the birds eye.

    Robert & Robert,
Harsh light is due for the shooting time 4:30 PM. When I drive to ENP, I am there from sunrise to sunset, shooting at everything that moves, not too many opportunities to visit the park.

Just a bit of a head-turn, and the end of the beak and the eye would be sharp.
