This was taken HH in Portrait orientation, with back button AF ( I am liking this a lot ) from a low angle. He/She was quiet cooperative! This is almost full frame, wish there was a bit more room at bottom but I still like this shot.

Sanjeev, this is a beautiful portrait. Love the sharpness and color of the eye, the OOF BG, the low able view. Yes, a bit more at a bottom would have been nice.

Good one here Sanjeev. This is a female shikra, otherwise known as the little banded goshawk. One can differentiate the male and female from the color of the iris (yellow in case of females and red in case of males). The low angle has given you a nice bg and the sharpness of the overall image is very good. A little more space to the bottom would have been better though. Thanks
    for sharing :-)

    Nice Image Sanjeev,
Wonderful and sharp, the raptor looks stunning at this angle
The blue in the bg may be something you may try cloning out , just a suggestion

Great low aspect in this one, and great eye as well, agree a little more room on the bottom would improve slightly and remove the blue spot. Impressed you seen one of these out in the open, I have only ever seen a few and they are very shy sticking to the deeper shadows in dense trees

Beautiful hawk and a nice capture of it. The critical focus point was definitely on the eye, which is tack sharp along with the head, but f4 at that distance didnt cover the rest of the hawk that well. Nice shot.

    Sanjeev,

You got some great feedback above, and I would agree with Phil about cloning out the blue in the bg. A little room on the bottom couldn't hurt either.

Hi Sanjeev, comp works well, and I do like the pose and HA. You have brought out excellent detail on the head, eye and beak, and agree, a little more room below would have been good.

Hi Sanjeev - I think this is one of your best. Nice detail, sharpness and colors. Agree on a little tight below but still a very fine image.

    Rachel
