    Nice pose and I like the raised foot on the branch and the catch light. Is this a large crop?

    Nice pose an colours. I like to see the light in the eye. The background looks a bit nosy.

    CM,

    I think you did a great job of incorporating the suggestions given in your previous post. The tighter composition is a plus, and I think you have a better head angle and body pose here.

    However, it does look like the image is a heavy crop, or possibly it was compressed too much? Not sure, but I would look into it as it has the potential to be a great image.

    I like the head angle too but it looks a little soft, probably what others are referring to on the crop.

    What a difference. Love the angle and comp here. This comp shows off the bird and perch so nicely And your background is lovely.
