    Grackle

Photographed last month while on Jim Neiger's and James Shadle's BAA approved "Best of Florida" workshop.

I enhanced the sky, and liked the cool looking iridescent colors & patterns.

Thank you for looking, and your suggestions are appreciated.

Love the colors and the BG is really good with the color and the OOF reeds. Very sharp.

The only change that would really be good is if the near wing was in the up or down more.

I like the setting and details. I agree regarding a different wing position and I would increase the contrast a bit.

I would try selectively burning some of the darker areas of the wings (no more than 5-6%). A bit of work is needed on the eye too. Other than than this is a tremendous, and not easy to achieve, photograph. Very cool!

Thank you all for the excellent suggestions ... and they should be pretty easy to do!:)

I have to pause here to say that I can really feel the improvements with each post, and have learned so much from all of you in only a few months time! I'll get off the soapbox now ... thanks!

Oh, I love all of the detail / colors captured in the feathers. Great flight shot of this speed demon.
