This is a Lesser Jacana. Quite a rarity in Southern African wetlands.
I photographed this chap in early morning light on waters of the Okavango Delta with my lens resting over the side of the little boat I was on.
Techs:

Hey Morkel, I like this image a lot—wonderful light, great detail, excellent exposure & techs, the raised foot with the bubble between the toes takes it over the top.
Pretty amazing Morkel, never seen the water on the foot like this, nice sharp and well exposed shot as well, well done on getting a fine imnage of an uncommon bird too.
Love that raised foot. Fantastic details and colour. I'm not sure what that blurred green stuff is in front of the bird...maybe OOF reeds or reflection, but I thought it's slightly distracting. I'm fine with the background though.
Hi Mork, great angle shooting from the boat, and well timed to capture the raised foot - especially showing the bubble of water. Sweet light always produces, and in turn, the colours look great. I presume there were distractions on the right, not to have gone landscape. Dont get me wrong, Im fine with the vertical as is.
That is very neat! Love that raised foot with water film between the toes...way cool. Looks like you had an OOF grass in the middle FG, easy to eliminate. This would have been a 10 had the body angle been a wee bit better, so I'll give it a 9.8 Awesome light, colours, low angle!!
