8mm Film Transfer

Does anyone have an experience with having 8mm film transferred to DVD? I have a lot of old 8mm film with family video that is very important to me and I would like to have it transferred to DVD. There are a zillion places on the internet that advertise. I was wondering if anyone has done this and has a recommendation on who will do a good job??

Bob I had some transferred a couple of years ago. It went fine. The quality was not as good as I expected but had more to do with the film itself.
Can't remember the service used but it was worth it !!! Hope you will get a recommendation.

Give your local camera shop a call they must have a contact out there somewhere. I know large camera shops always have these services.

I recently did my old family movies and used a company called Video-7 Production in Mabank, TX
