    Default Beach Grass Blur

Hi, this is my first post in OOTB. I don't really do a lot of OOTB but just before the holidays I attended Denise and Artie's 2 day Seminar and also their talk at B&H so I gave blurs a try over New Year's weekend. It had snowed lightly and the white is snow on the ground. I can see how blurs can become addictive.

    C&C welcome and appreciated. Thanks,

Nice blur! I like that it still retains some of the definition of the grasses. You did a great job moving the camera along the direction of the stalks. The rectangles you got because of the snow are a plus. Welcome to OOTB.

Hi Rachel, blurs can become addicting as well as the myriad of filters and effects presented in this forum. Artie and Denise introduced me to blurs at Bosque del Apache in November. Well done with the vertical grass blur.

Welcome to OOTB, Rachel! I have trouble finding blurs that I'm pleased with, but I like this one a lot. The warm color of the grass with the band of snow in between is very pleasing.

Rachel, I lurk in the Wildlife Forum and greatly admire your African images. This blur is beautiful with both vertical and horizontal elements working so well together. I think you will be a natural at this!
