    What a flock!
    It works for me, a very nice Nature image.
    A lot of shorebirds and the sharpness and DOF is just right.

    That is some amazing flock you have captured here. Love that one stray bird near the top. I just cropped this to pano (took off the sky) and it really brought the image to another level for me. Thought you may like to give it a try.

    Hi Jon, another fine image showing the vastness of the flocks you get down your way. I like how they are all framed against the sea. I can see where Marina is coming from, but if one crops away the sky, it leaves the birds a touch tight on top. If you leave a bit of sky, you may as well leave all the sky. Just a thought.

    Ha! My first instinct was to browser-crop the sky away and then I read Marina's comment. I do love the image, you got a great grouping of birds and I love the bits of habitat below the flock. Is that another bird in lower right corner?

    Thanks for the comments everyone, glad you liked the image.
    Chris I honestly don't have a clue how many birds there were but if you imagine this image approximately 1/2 mile wide I think you will have an idea of the scale.
