    ...... or at least, Drake - Mallard resting in a snow bank, Dartmouth, NS.

    D7000, 300 f/4 AF-S + 1.7TC. Hand-held.

    1/1250, f/9.0, ISO 500.

    Mod. crop, adjustments , sharpening etc. in LR. Some extraneous rocks cloned out.

    Definately a "cool" duck. I lke the way it stands out against the snow. I think I'd clone out the small clump of snow in the front of the duck and maybe try to tone down the area juat to left and behind the head, it seems a lttile hot to me. Otherwie, I like it.

    Sweet, simple, clean image. He stands out very well against the snow. Exposure looks great.

    Cool image, agree with a simple clean image. I also like the low angle and the snow adds nicely, nicely done.
