    Default Eclipse plumage...

    Hello,

    Here is a wood duck in eclipse plumage photographied in Sherbrooke, Quebec in June 2006...

    When I took this picture of this wood duck, I began also in ornithology and thought it was its wedding plumage!!! I was impressed by its color... Now I know ;)

    It is a full frame image and it seems to me that the bird is too squeezed within the image (not enough space in front of him)...

    Next time I will try to avoid that kind of beginner error...

    You are right in your self-critique about being (very) tight in the frame. I will also point out that the light is quite harsh here, and the reflection being abruptly cut off by the lily pad is unfortunate. J'aime bien to site web - beau travail :-)

    Nice eye contact and details. I agree on it being too tight in the frame. Could you post some techs?
