    Dumay,

Nice to see you here in the Avian forum! This is a very clean, and well executed portrait. Nice choice of aperture to get an ideal depth of field.

I would like to see a touch more contrast, for added punch.

Excellent portrait, I love the curve of the bill and how it fits in the frame. Have you tried a b&w version of this?

Dumay - fantastic detail (love the lashes), color and pov. Creamy bokeh sets it off nicely. Very well done!

Excellent portrait, and I like the head tilting upwards a bit. There is a patch of feathers that look sharper than the rest (near the cheek)...not sure why.

Hi Bud, lovely portrait, and you cant go wrong with capturing oodles of detail on these guys - eyelashes and all. I feel you have comped this nicely, just enough space all round.

I havent had a chance to get one of these guys for a while - fun capturing images of them.

Hope the rain hasnt washed you away in your 'new home'.

Great shot, love that you can even see the cracks in his beak and the eyelash shadows on his eye.
