I posted one earlier of this guy on the same perch looking forward.
This is a version with a head turn.
Place: Bosque Del Apache, Visitor center back garden.
    Thanks for looking.

I really like this. He looks mad and the the head turn really adds some interest. Exposure and BG look good. I think I would eliminate the bright spot on the left edge of the frame, easy fix if you choose to do so. Nice job!

Nice pose and look of a species not posted often (if ever).
Since it is looking back, I might take some off the left and the top.
    Attractive Bosque looking BG.

And a great head turn it is! Love that BG, nice light, excellent exposure and detail! A lot to like!

Might consider placing bird a bit further left in the frame for this pose.

    Great shot.
I really like the pose, wonderful background, and nice details.
I would crop some off the left.
    Well done.

Hi Karl, great IQ here, and you have captured excellent detail on this fellow. Nice and sharp with a good look back pose. What a sweet BG too. Your repost does work better.

    The RP is excellent.
I really like the BG and the thin red eye ring.
    Good sharpness as well.
I like seeing pics of birds other than sandhill cranes and snow geese from Bosque,
